John Cole predicted that another thousand political prisoners would be deported
Commenting for Reuters on the release of more than 123 people from Belarusian prisons, John Cole "gave credit" to Alexander Lukashenka.

"I think he is moving forward, he wants more normal relations with the United States and the West. So we are moving in that direction. And, going this way, I think he is open to greater normalization of relations with other countries as well."
After months of negotiations, the total number [of released political prisoners] reaches about 300 people.
"It's a logistical problem — to get about a thousand people out and deliver them where they need to go. I think it's more than possible, I believe it's possible, but it will take a little more time — maybe in a few months it will happen," Cole said.
