It became known that the Mironets family was detained as part of a criminal case. Currently, the mother and one of the daughters, Veranika, are in pre-trial detention, Dissidentby writes .
Sisters Viktoryia, Anastasiya, and Aliaksandra Mironets stood up for citizens who were being beaten by OMON (riot police) in August 2020. After that, Aliaksandra managed to leave, while Viktoryia and Anastasiya were detained in October 2020.
As a result, Viktoryia was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment, and Anastasiya — to 2 years in a penal colony. In 2022, the two sisters were released, having fully served their sentences.
Now it has become known that in December 2025, the girls' mother, Lukerya Mironets, and her daughter Veranika were arrested. They are in Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1.
