Off the coast of Bulgaria, drones attacked two merchant ships, one sank
On the morning of October 6, drones attacked two commercial ships off the coast of Bulgaria. One of them subsequently sank, and searches for missing crew members are currently underway. There are casualties, writes Euronews.

It is known that the affected ships sailed under the flags of Togo and Palau.
At the time of the attack, both vessels were in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone, but outside its territorial waters. This is the first known case of an attack in the economic zone of a NATO member country.
The incident occurred shortly after another attack in the Black Sea. The day before, near the coast of Romania, the Turkish vessel Royad Mammadov, which was transporting grain from Ukraine to Italy, sank after a drone strike. Two people died as a result of that attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the ship near Romania was attacked by two Russian drones. According to him, citizens of Azerbaijan and India were on board.
