According to information from the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the next auction is scheduled for January 23, 2026. The starting price is only 42 rubles, and the minimum auction step is slightly more than two rubles.
The two-story building of the Carmelite monastery is a historical and cultural heritage site. It was built in 1735. Its territory housed residential buildings, a library, a hospital, a pharmacy, and warehouses. In 1812, Napoleon Bonaparte stayed in the monastery for several days.
In 1865, the monastery was closed, and an Orthodox church was built on its territory. To this day, only one of the three sections of the building has survived.
11 years ago, the court recognized the building of the former Carmelite monastery as ownerless and transferred it to communal ownership. Over the past three years, attempts have been made several times to sell the property at auction for one base unit, but without success.
The lot includes a two-story brick building with a basement, with a total area of approximately 1280 square meters. A land plot of 10 ares is attached to it, with a lease right for 40 years. The future owner will be obliged to preserve the monument, as it has the status of a historical and cultural heritage site.
