Trump: I don't need international law. My own mind and morals are enough
US President Donald Trump stated that, as commander-in-chief, he effectively has no external limitations on his power, other than his own moral principles. The New York Times reports this.

Answering a journalist's question about whether there are any limits to his global influence, Trump said that the only limitations for him are his own mind and personal morals. According to him, it is internal convictions and personal responsibility that restrain his actions.
"Are there any limits to your power?" a journalist asked the US President.
To this, Trump replied:
"Yes, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. That's the only thing that can stop me. I don't need international law. I don't seek to harm people."
