BT stated that spy Uladzimir User wrote to the return commission from Poland
The alleged appeal sent by Uladzimir User (Lazarau) was discussed in a report on the Belarus 1 TV channel, which aired on January 12. He allegedly did not live long enough to learn about the positive decision.
The death of 70-year-old User became known in early December. Around the same time, his neighbor Anatol Vaitsyakhouski, who appeared in a propaganda video on state television on January 12, disappeared from public view. The video claimed that before his death, User had allegedly written an application to a special return commission but died without receiving a response.
Propagandist Ksenia Lebedzeva showed a photocopy of a document dated September 25, 2025, on air. In it, User allegedly writes that he was one of the creators of the film "Alien Sky" and also expresses remorse for previous publications.
According to Lebedzeva, the commission allegedly made a positive decision regarding his appeal, but User himself never learned about it.
The video also showed footage from User's apartment, his medical documents, a blurred photo of the deceased, and, as claimed, materials from the criminal case initiated against him on charges of espionage.
Anatol Vaitsyakhouski stated in this report that he returned to Belarus because he feared for his health.
