According to Minsk residents' observations, at 8 AM, the cost of a Yandex-Taxi from "Minsk-World" to Sukharava was 64 rubles. "This is three times more than usual," angry residents of the capital stated.
"From "Pushkina/Zhukava" to "Minsk-World" - 32 rubles. Such a price was observed around noon," another Minsk resident recounted.
"The carrier asks for 39.5 rubles for a 6-minute trip, which previously, even during peak hours, cost a maximum of 20 rubles," says Anastasia.

"30 rubles for 7 stops I consider "outrageous"," shares Alena.

"Here I can still splurge and travel two stops to Pushkinskaya for 20 rubles," the girl jokes.

Other readers told about six-minute trips for which almost 20 rubles had to be paid.

According to lawyer Viktoria Romanchikova, the regulation of prices (tariffs) for taxi services is not provided for by Belarusian legislation. This means that carriers (aggregators) have the right to determine them independently, so the price increase during snowfall does not contradict the law.
