Iranians will hold a farewell ceremony for the slain supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Wednesday at 22:00 local time (21:30 Minsk time) at the Imam Khomeini prayer cemetery in Tehran, Reuters reports, citing state media.
The ceremony will last three days, and the composition of the mourning procession will be announced after its final approval.
Iran's Supreme Leader (Rahbar), 86-year-old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed during a US and Israeli operation on February 28. Two days later, his wife Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh also died from her injuries.
