Ministry of Natural Resources Introduced Limits on Simultaneous Stay in National Parks
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection introduced restrictions on the number of people who can simultaneously stay in special zones of the "Braslav Lakes" and "Pripyatsky" national parks. This is done to reduce the load on natural ecosystems.

In the "Braslav Lakes" National Park, specific limits have been set for various areas. In the "Medvedno" territory, covering more than 111 hectares, no more than 124 people can be present simultaneously. In the "Zasnuddzie" area, no more than 43 visitors are allowed, and in the small "Abab'e" territory — a maximum of four people.
In the "Pripyatsky" National Park, restrictions on landscape changes have also been introduced. In the recreational zone with a total area of over a thousand hectares, complete transformation of territories is allowed only in a small part, and significant changes are permitted in an even more limited area.
In addition, the maximum number of people that does not harm nature during mushroom and berry picking has been determined. This norm varies in different forestries — from several dozens to about a thousand people.
Limits have also been set for visiting ecological trails: for example, on the "Tsar-Pine" trail, no more than 50 people can be present simultaneously, and on the "Khlupinskaya Buda" route — no more than 27.
At the same time, the "Pripyatsky" National Park has opened registration for a special water tour — rafting along the spring floods of the Pripyat River. The route was named "Herodotus's Sea," as Pripyat is sometimes called. The journey begins near the village of Perarov.
During the rafting, participants will be able to see the nature of Polesie: floodplain meadows, oxbow lakes, flooded oak trees, and ancient willows. They will also be able to observe migratory birds — swans, ducks, geese, herons, and waders, as well as learn about the life of beavers and see their lodges. You can register for participation through the contacts provided on the national park's website.
