Chagall's Famous "The Walk" to be Brought to Minsk

"The Walk" will be exhibited as part of a temporary exhibition "Exhibition of One Masterpiece".

The famous canvas "The Walk" by artist Marc Chagall will be delivered to Minsk this week. The painting will be the central exhibit of a unique temporary exhibition, which will open at the National Art Museum in early April, Minsk-News reports.

The corresponding document was signed by First Deputy Minister Dmitry Shlyakhtin.

— The long-awaited exhibit arrives in Minsk this week. Spoiler – this is one of the most recognizable works by the artist from Belarus, depicting his hometown as seen by the master's inspired heart, — the department noted.

The canvas belongs to the State Russian Museum.

"The Walk" will be exhibited as part of a temporary exhibition "Exhibition of One Masterpiece". The organizers will announce its exact opening date later.
