Man took a loan, but died and did not return the money, but a promissory note remained
In Baranavichy, the results of a handwriting examination resolved a contentious issue.

A man borrowed 17 thousand dollars from an acquaintance. However, he was unable to return this amount — he died.
The woman approached the borrower's family with a demand to return the money, but was refused. Therefore, the issue was resolved in court.
As proof, the plaintiff presented a promissory note that specified the amount of the debt and the term for its repayment. The debtor's family did not acknowledge the claim, explaining that no funds had been transferred. The court deemed this argument unfounded.
During a handwriting examination, taking into account the provided handwriting samples, it was established that the entries in the document were made by the debtor, as was the signature, reports the State Committee for Forensic Examinations.
Considering the evidence collected, including the results of the handwriting examination, the court ruled to recover the debt from the defendant, in the person of the deceased's daughter, in favor of the plaintiff under the loan agreement, amounting to 17 thousand dollars.
