The 63-year-old man was unhappy with the noisy behaviour of the teenagers. The quarrel escalated into a scuffle, which continued in a nearby shop. There, the man pulled out a knife and began threatening the young people.
The teenagers managed to knock the knife out of his hands, after which the attacker fled. As a result of the incident, an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl sustained minor cuts.
Witnesses contacted traffic police officers who were nearby. The police quickly responded and apprehended the suspect.
As a medical examination showed, the man was in a state of severe alcoholic intoxication — about 2.5 per mille.
