United Transitional Cabinet Offers Legal Assistance to EHU Students
The UTC expressed support for students of the European Humanities University in Vilnius, which Belarusian authorities recognized as an extremist organization last week.

“If you are in Belarus or have to travel there, do not carry documents or items related to EHU (student ID, certificates, contracts, branded materials), and do not show your EHU diploma to state bodies or employers.
Clean up your digital footprint: delete EHU-related content from devices you might use in Belarus; review social networks for mentions, subscriptions, likes, and reposts related to EHU, and delete or hide them.
Do not disclose that you are studying or have studied at EHU when talking to Belarusian officials or security forces, and do not engage in dialogue with suspicious online accounts that threaten you or offer to “solve the problem.”
At the same time, your education and future remain important to us. If you are considering continuing your studies in Lithuania, Poland, or other EU countries, or if you are unsure what to do next, we are ready to help you navigate your options,” the UTC statement says.
The UTC invites students to contact them with the following questions:
- personal safety and travel,
- risks for students and their families,
- possible transfer or continuation of studies in the EU,
- psychological and legal support.
