The exit to MKAD is being reconstructed on Angarskaya. Here's how they want to organize traffic
It will be easier to exit, writes Blizko.by.

In the Angarskaya-4 microdistrict in Minsk, reconstruction of the road connecting Ilimskaya Street and MKAD has begun.
Back in October 2023, the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Vladimir Kukharev, held an on-site reception for citizens in the Zavodsky district. A resident of Nesterova Street appealed with a request to widen the road connecting Ilimskaya Street with MKAD. She complained that during evening rush hour, due to the narrowness of the road, traffic jams periodically occurred there. In addition, she expressed wishes for a change in the organization of road traffic in this location. Vladimir Kukharev reported that the road is planned to be widened: an appropriate project is being developed.

And now, road works have commenced, according to the transport forum.
On the website of the administration of the Zavodsky district of Minsk, there is a presentation of the public discussion on the project for the reconstruction of this area. It includes cartograms of traffic intensity at different times of the day and in different directions.

The presentation states that there was an option to preserve the existing unregulated passage with the creation of a dividing zone, but it was deemed impractical. As a result, they settled on a roundabout with an inner island radius of 20 meters near the MKAD. A larger ring would have affected the parking lot and the gas station.

And at the point where the connecting road joins Ilimskaya Street, a regulated intersection will be created; the public transport stop will be moved 65 meters north, past the intersection.
