Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves increased by $24.4 million in April and amounted to $15.267 billion as of May 1, 2026, the National Bank reported.

Throughout 2025, as well as in January and February 2026, Belarus' FX reserves grew, only decreasing by one billion immediately in March. The reduction in the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves is linked to a decrease in the price of gold on international financial markets.
At the end of 2024, gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to $9 billion, and by the end of 2025, they were $14.4 billion, and as of March 1, 2026, they were $16.4 billion, followed by a decline of one billion dollars.
