The Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasizes that these are scammers.
Real employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations:
- do not sell fire extinguishers, fire alarms, or other safety equipment;
- do not issue fines over the phone;
- do not demand passport data, bank card numbers, or SMS codes.
The installation of fire safety equipment in a private house or apartment is voluntary and is done for personal safety.
People are advised to be vigilant and warn their relatives, especially elderly family members, about such a scheme.
