Minsk provided information about a drone that flew into Lithuania
Where the drone is, is still unknown.
Belarus reported a possible drone flying towards Lithuania, said Commander of the Lithuanian Army Land Forces Brigadier General Nerijus Stankevičius, as reported by LRT.
"In the morning, we received a message from the Belarusian armed forces about a possible drone movement towards Lithuanian territory. Our Latvian neighbours also received similar information," Stankevičius told reporters on Wednesday.
"At the moment, we cannot say where this aircraft is – whether it has crashed or simply left Lithuanian airspace. Searches are ongoing with the help of a Air Force helicopter and ground forces. If the operation is successful and we find either debris or the fallen aircraft itself, we will inform," he added.
