Poland's Internal Security Agency showed how Andrzej Poczobut was exchanged
ABW played a key role in the preparation and conduct of this operation

The Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW) showed footage of the prisoner exchange between Poland and Belarus, which resulted in the release of journalist Andrzej Poczobut on April 28.
The agency published fragments of recordings from the operation site on X, as noted by Reform.news.
«ABW played a key role in the preparation and conduct of this operation», the comment states.
An episode of the program Raport Specjalny, titled «New Cold War», on TVP Info channel is dedicated to the exchange. It will air on October 25 at 20:15.
In the program, an ABW officer will share details of the operation and talk about the specifics of such events, the agency reported.
Andrzej Poczobut was released this spring as a result of a «five-for-five» exchange conducted by Poland and Belarus. The United States also participated in organizing the exchange.
Upon his release, Andrzej Poczobut received assurances that he would be able to return to Belarus. In early September, he made a week-long trip to the country, where he met with relatives and activists of the Union of Poles in Belarus.
