14 Officials Punished in Mogilev Region for Neglecting Citizen Appeals
In the Mogilev region, 14 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility for violations of legislation on appeals from citizens and legal entities. This was reported by the State Control Committee of the Mogilev Region.

The Committee checked how appeals from citizens are handled in a number of district executive committees, district administrations, and organizations in the region. The inspection revealed cases of improper review of appeals, as well as violations of the procedure for working with the book of comments and suggestions.
For example, in the Krichev District Executive Committee, a collective appeal from residents of houses on Sirotinina Street was reviewed for more than two months instead of the stipulated one month. People appealed regarding the lack of street lighting and the need to repair the road surface.
In the Slavgorod District Executive Committee, an appeal from an individual entrepreneur, who proposed optimizing the schedule of intercity passenger transportation on the Slavgorod — Mogilev route, was reviewed for more than a month.
In addition, the inspection revealed cases where local authorities did not determine the fee for issuing permits for excavation work on streets, squares, and in courtyards and, accordingly, did not collect it from organizations and entrepreneurs.
