Residents of old panel multi-storey buildings and Khrushchev-era apartments that have not undergone major repairs have been complaining about the cold for more than a week.
Owners of "square meters" in new buildings experience seasonal changes more simply: at most, they switched windows to "winter" mode. But today, all Minsk residents are united by a common joy: heat has already started flowing into some houses, writes Onliner.by.
Tatyana informed the editorial office that the radiators are no longer icy. The girl lives in a Stalinist-era building on Strelkova Street and, generally, had not particularly complained about the cold so far. She only turned on a heater in the child's bedroom at night, just in case.
— About a week ago, the radiators started gurgling — apparently, the system was being checked then. And today, without expecting anything, I approached the radiator and felt warmth coming from them. I touched them, and they were indeed warm. Of course, not hot, like in the dead of winter, but it's something, — the Minsk resident rejoices.
Residents of "Minsk-Sveta" were also warned today: stop repair work on the heating system, return radiators to their places, or install plugs.
«Currently, employees of the managing organization are carrying out work to fill and launch the heating system in the residential buildings of the complex. We remind you that the launch of the heating system in Minsk's residential areas is carried out after the decision of the Minsk City Executive Committee within 5 working days from the date specified in the decision,» clarify "Happy Planet".
