The Michurinsk "Progress" plant is a large industrial enterprise specializing in high-tech machine building, producing high-tech equipment for control systems of aviation and missile technology, as well as a wide range of electrical equipment for civilian purposes, and equipment for gas and oil pipelines.
A "Magnit" supermarket burned down in the immediate vicinity of the plant, and a local industrial-technological college was also damaged. This information was confirmed by the governor. According to his data, 2 people were injured.
