Schools to hold a single lesson "Belarusian Woman — a Symbol of Strength and Inspiration"
It will be timed to Women's Day and will take place on March 5.
"Throughout history, Belarusian women have played a key role in the development of society: they raised generations with traditional values of honor, kindness, and resilience, served as a moral compass, passing on wisdom and spiritual strength through centuries," — stated the Ministry of Education.
Today, according to the Ministry of Education, they successfully combine caring for their family and raising children with work and public activity. The Ministry also published materials for the lesson.
During the lesson, schoolchildren must be led to understand the contribution of Belarusian women to various spheres of life. They must also learn that motherhood, raising children, and caring for the family are the most important roles of women in society.
When preparing the lesson, it is proposed to use materials from Alexander Lukashenka's website about the Year of the Belarusian Woman, the republication of Natallya Kachanava's interview with the newspaper "SB. Belarus Today", posted on the National Legal Internet Portal, as well as the manual for students of general secondary education institutions "I — a Citizen of the Republic of Belarus".
