In Gomel, an ingenious scheme for faking medical prescriptions was uncovered
A resident of Gomel came up with a way to obtain prescription drugs by bypassing doctors. This was reported by the State Committee of Forensic Expertise.

In December, police officers conducted checks in several pharmacies in the regional center. Both originals and copies of prescriptions for various medicinal products were seized there. All documents were filled out with similar handwriting, often for the same surname — only the initials or dates of birth changed. Suspicions were also raised about the authenticity of the forms themselves and the stamp impressions.
During operational measures, a person was identified who was allegedly involved in the production and filling out of fake prescriptions. Samples of his handwriting were taken, and handwriting and technical examinations of the documents were ordered.
The expert conducted a detailed analysis and found signs indicating that all entries in the prescriptions were made by one person. It also turned out that the forms and stamps were printed on a printer.
The investigation established that the man personally presented fake prescriptions at various pharmacies in Gomel and thus acquired large quantities of medicines, including potent drugs that are dispensed only with a doctor's prescription.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact.
