Artemis Crew Will Lose Contact with Earth, But Everything is Going According to Plan
No one has ever been so far from home as the astronauts of the 'Artemis' mission.

But as Earth became smaller and smaller in their 'rearview mirror', they maintained constant communication with mission control in Houston, Texas. Calm words from the NASA team gave the crew a sense of connection to home.
However, during the night, communication with Earth will be cut off, the BBC writes.
When the astronauts find themselves behind the Moon at approximately 03:47 Belarusian time on Tuesday night, radio and laser signals, which provide communication between the spacecraft and Earth, will be blocked by the Moon itself.
"When we are behind the Moon, without contact with everyone, let's use this as an opportunity," said pilot Victor Glover to BBC News before the mission. "Let's pray, hope, send your good thoughts and feelings, so that we re-establish contact with the crew."
As of 09:40 AM on Monday, the crew has already flown 378 thousand kilometers, with 56 thousand kilometers remaining; the flight has lasted four days and nine hours.
