Blogger Tucker Carlson apologized for supporting Trump. "You know, this will haunt us for a long time. Me — for sure, and I want to say that I'm sorry I misled people. It was unintentional," said journalist Tucker Carlson in a conversation with his brother Buckley Carlson, a former Trump speechwriter.
"You, me, and everyone else who supported him — you wrote his speeches, I campaigned for him — we are definitely complicit in this," Tucker Carlson stated, adding that "it's not enough to simply say: 'Well, I changed my mind' or: 'Oh, this is bad. I'm washing my hands of it'."
In 1999, Carlson called Trump "the most disgusting person on the planet," but in 2016, before the first election, he urged people to take Trump seriously, and in 2024, he actively began to support him.
