An apartment caught fire on Maksim Tank Street in Minsk — a man died, a woman was rescued

The message about the fire was sent to rescuers automatically.

The "Malanka" notification system reported smoke in the stairwell of an apartment building on Maksim Tank Street in Minsk. Rescuers arrived at the scene and saw that an apartment on the fifth floor was on fire.

In the corridor, firefighters found a woman on the floor — she was led out of the dangerous area with a mask and handed over to medics.

However, in the room where the fire broke out, the body of a man was found.

8 units of MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) equipment worked at the scene.
