The Lida Historical and Art Museum has launched a new interactive excursion called "With the First Roosters." Its unique feature is that visitors arrive at the castle even before sunrise and can witness the first sunbeams directly within the ancient fortress, writes Tochka.by.

The program is designed for approximately one and a half hours. During this time, guests are told about the history of Lida Castle, its legends, and the famous figures whose names are associated with it.
The excursion includes a morning walk through Prince Gediminas' castle and its towers, as well as an interactive performance dedicated to the wedding of King Jagiello and Sophia of Halshany.

For visitors, master classes on medieval games and dances are also organized, allowing them to more fully experience the atmosphere of that era.
The organizers note that the main feature of the new format is the opportunity to see how the ancient fortress gradually awakens and the sun rises over it.

The staff of the Lida Historical and Art Museum were the first to decide to conduct excursion programs specifically at dawn. During the early walk through the castle galleries, visitors can not only immerse themselves in medieval history but also view the modern Lida landscape.
The new excursion is already enjoying particular popularity among foreign tourists. However, the organizers believe that it can also interest Belarusians, including those who have visited Lida Castle many times before.
