"No strength, no resources, everyone is tired." Lukashenka stated that the war in Ukraine will be over in the coming months
Lukashenka has repeatedly predicted a swift end to the war in Ukraine, but this time the argumentation has changed.

Alexander Lukashenka believes that the war in Ukraine will be completed in the coming months. He stated this at the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, writes BelTA.
"I must say that the war in Ukraine will be over in the coming months. This is my personal opinion. That's it: there's no strength and no resources, everyone is tired," Lukashenka stated. "When I speak of resources, it doesn't mean there's a lack of some resources somewhere. Russia, God willing, has enough for the whole world. I'm not talking about *those* resources. There are no resources left in people's heads. Everyone is tired of this war."
Lukashenka has repeatedly predicted a swift end to the war in Ukraine. As early as February 6, 2022, before the start of the full-scale invasion, he stated that the war with Ukraine, if it were to begin, would last "a maximum of three or four days," because "there will be no one there to fight against us."
Afterward, he repeatedly assured that the war would end soon, predicting its conclusion in various ways.
However, he previously called on Ukraine to capitulate, predicting that conditions for capitulation would worsen further.
On November 24, 2025, Lukashenka even called the war a protracted struggle: "We will end this protracted struggle, I think, in Ukraine in the nearest future, and we will deal with our internal affairs."
On October 16, 2026, he predicted peace "if not this year, then next year."
Now he has named another deadline — "in the coming months."
It is noteworthy that his argumentation has become completely different — the war will end, because already "there is no strength, no resources, everyone is tired."
