Teenager in Minsk handed over more than 15 thousand rubles to fraudsters. The courier turned out to be a schoolgirl of the same age
The boy was threatened with drone attacks.

The parents of a 14-year-old student contacted the police. In a dating app, the teenager was in contact with a person who allegedly was his peer. After some time, the new acquaintance asked the boy to send his geolocation, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
After that, an unknown person in camouflage contacted the boy via video call. He began to threaten the schoolboy and claim that military drones would fly to his coordinates, and the teenager himself would be imprisoned.
Fearing for himself and his family, the child handed over more than 15 thousand rubles to an unknown girl who collected the money.
Operatives found out that the courier was a 14-year-old ninth-grade student from one of the capital's schools. Before this, an unknown person had called her on Telegram. She accused the girl of stealing a large sum of money.
Later, a person who introduced himself as an investigator contacted her. He stated that for cooperation with the investigation, the girl must follow his instructions. As a result, the minor collected money from several teenagers, including the victim. In total, she had four packages with money.
The girl took them to the Minsk district and left them at a location indicated by her handler. A criminal case has been initiated.
The police urge parents to talk to their children about phone scam schemes.
«Explain that one should not disclose their geolocation to strangers, hand over money to them, or comply with the demands of people who threaten them or their loved ones. If strangers intimidate a child or demand that what is happening be kept secret, it is necessary to immediately contact the police,» — emphasized the Main Internal Affairs Directorate.
