It will be possible to legalize self-occupied land in installments
The government has approved the procedure for granting installment payments for the legalization of self-occupied land plots. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.

Installments will be available to people whose issue of legalizing a self-occupied land plot is being considered. To do this, an application must be submitted to the local executive committee. It can be submitted separately from the application for granting a self-occupied plot, but this must be done before a decision on its legalization is made.
However, part of the payment for the right to legalization must be made immediately. Its amount is determined by the executive committee, but it cannot be less than 25% of the total amount of payment for the right to legalization.
The maximum installment period is five years.
Executive committees can also determine a minimum payment amount for legalization below which installments are not granted. Additionally, installments may be denied if the submitted documents contain inaccurate information or if the person previously improperly fulfilled obligations for payments for land plots acquired in installments.
