In Vilnius, a memorial plaque will be installed on the grave of the former secretary of the Vilna Belarusian Gymnasium
On October 3 at 10:00 AM, the Belarusian Orthodox Parish in Vilnius invites to join the tidying up of Uladzimir Lukashyevich's grave at the St. Euphrosyne Cemetery.

In 1924–1926, Lukashyevich taught God's Law at the Vilna Belarusian Gymnasium, later serving as its secretary. In archival documents, he is also mentioned as an assistant class teacher and a member of the Parents' Committee. His daughter Raisa was the wife of the Belarusian public and political figure Leanid Haliak.
The grave was found thanks to researcher Uladzislau Harbatski. The old plaque had faded so much that the inscriptions were no longer legible.
During the event, a new memorial plaque will be installed, and the cross will be repaired and painted. The burial site will be consecrated by Father George Roy.
The event will take place on October 3 at 10:00 AM at the St. Euphrosyne Cemetery (Liepkalnio g. 19) in Vilnius, at this geolocation.
