Apartment owners in "Northern Shore" started receiving bills — and are in shock at the sums for water heating
For less than 3 cubic meters of hot water, a Minsk resident received a bill for 104 rubles.

First bill shocked the owner
A woman from the Minsk complex "Northern Shore" posted a bill for September for an unoccupied apartment in "Northern Shore" with one registered person.
The total bill, including electricity, amounted to 193 rubles. Of these, 104 rubles are for water heating. As for the volume, it was 2.8 cubic meters.
Commentators began to offer versions of why this is happening. "While few people live in the house, all the water heating is paid for by those who use it," writes one user.
"Everything is correct: for the sake of you few, the entire hot water supply circuit is heated, and the circulation of the entire house is working. Therefore, heat consumption occurs regardless of the cubic meters consumed according to the meter in the apartment," adds another.

"Hot water is not calculated that way. You need to look at the consumption for the house. A certain amount of Gcal has been consumed for your house. Then they take the Gcal and divide it by the cubic meters of water to find out how many Gcal were consumed per 1 cubic meter. Most likely, not all residents are yet providing data on cubic meter consumption, which is why it turned out so expensive for you," one of the women speculates.
Another person gives an example: if the state spent 100 rubles on water heating for a house and the entire house consumed 5 cubic meters, then one cubic meter would cost 20 rubles. Therefore, if there are more residents in the house, the conditional 100 rubles will accordingly be distributed over a larger volume of water.
Developer's response
The developer reacted to the situation.
"The heating unit of your house is equipped with a group heat meter: it accounts for heat for heating and water heating, including hot water recirculation," commented the developer's account, confirming the opinion that the large bill for water heating is related to the fact that the house is still sparsely populated.
"During the heating period, the main part of the heat goes to heating, and only a part determined by law goes to water heating. Therefore, the cost for heating 1 cubic meter of water in the inter-heating period may differ from the heating period," the response adds.
The management company explained that 11 cubic meters of hot water were used for the entire house, and 13.5 Gcal for its heating, so the calculation is entirely correct.

104 rubles - is that not much?
In the comments under the Minsk resident's post, other city dwellers began to share their bills. One of the apartment owners in "Northern Shore" showed that she paid 301 rubles for water heating in August.
Another man wrote that in August he consumed 6 cubic meters of hot water in his apartment and paid 400 rubles for them.
"Mine was 467 rubles. Nobody is registered. Water was drained for communication checks. It was about 1.7 cubic meters," another user shared.
