MEXC explained the decision by continuous work on improving its regulatory compliance system. The exchange assured that all users' assets remain secure.

According to CoinMarketCap's ranking, MEXC is the ninth largest in the world. The daily trading volume on the platform is estimated at approximately $900 million. The exchange has been operating since 2018.

A little earlier, crypto exchange Bitget announced the termination of services for clients from Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Its users must withdraw funds by October 21.
