Her father, entrepreneur Sergey Cherechen, was also present at the competition.

Emilia Cherachen and her partner, Russian Matvey Marchenkov, won the Latin American program among participants under 14 years old. Her father, businessman and participant in the 2020 presidential elections Sergey Cherachen, was also at the competition in Moscow, writes Blizko.by.

The same pair, representing the Moscow club "Diamond", won silver medals on October 18 in the Latin American program of the all-Russian competitions in the "Juniors-1" group.
Emilia's father Sergey Cherachen is a Belarusian businessman who once tried his hand at politics. In 2020, as the leader of the now liquidated party "Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada", he participated in the presidential elections. According to the CEC data, Cherachen received 1.14% of the votes, taking the last place among the candidates.
Currently, Cherachen remains in Belarus and continues to engage in business. One of the most well-known projects associated with him was the Whitebird crypto exchange, which he co-founded. The former presidential candidate also plans to open a crypto bank with partners.
