The results of the identification were reported on the morning of November 8 by Małopolska Voivode Krzysztof Klęczar.

Four women and two men died from the shots of the 24-year-old killer in Krakow. Three women were Polish citizens — they were 47, 53, and 61 years old.

The fourth victim was 51 years old. Her nationality is not yet disclosed by the authorities: first, the police must inform her relatives about her death.

The deceased men are a 32-year-old citizen of Great Britain and a Pole whose age was not disclosed.

Among the injured, besides Poles, there are citizens of Great Britain, Portugal, Russia, Germany, and Austria. Belarus is not mentioned in the published list.

Klęczar stated that during the night, the services of the voivodeship administration contacted the diplomatic missions of the countries whose citizens were affected. They need time to inform their loved ones.

According to the voivode's morning data, 15 injured people remained in Krakow hospitals. Some were in serious condition in intensive care. Later, police representative Katarzyna Cisło reported that two people had been discharged.

The condition of one of the injured police officers is stable; the other's is serious but stable. The assailant himself is also in the hospital; his condition is assessed as critical.

On November 7, a 24-year-old resident of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski began shooting at passersby from a car in Krakow. He was apprehended after a shootout with the police.

In the shooter's apartment, the bodies of his parents and sister were found with gunshot wounds, along with seven firearms. National mourning has been declared in Poland on November 8 and 9.
