Why is Dmitry Skindzerau being deported from Lithuania? There are five reasons for this
The decision of the Lithuanian Migration Department lists what exactly Lithuanian state security has against the provocateur who declared war on Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and attacked Dzianis Kuchynski in a cafe.

The Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania revoked Dmitry Skindzerau's refugee status and decided to deport him to Belarus. His entry to Lithuania is forbidden for ten years, and to the Schengen area — for five.
This decision was read to Skindzerau on November 3, 2026. He does not agree with it and intends to appeal in court, but the court will not stop the deportation: the reason cited is a threat to national security.

The procedure began on June 4, 2026, when the Migration Department received the conclusion of the Lithuanian State Security Department (VSD). The department justifies its conclusion that Skindzerau threatens Lithuania's security with a combination of circumstances, which it itself lists in the resolution. Skindzerau published a translation of the document in his Telegram channel.
1. Connections with KGB, GUBOPiK, and DFR, which continued in Lithuania
In Belarus, Skindzerau maintained connections with employees of the Minsk and Vitebsk KGB, the Department of Financial Investigations (DFR), the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK), and other law enforcement agencies. After moving to Lithuania, these contacts, as the VSD claims, continued. However, Skindzerau requested asylum precisely because these structures allegedly persecuted him.
2. GUBOPiK's Assignment
Skindzerau carried out an assignment from a GUBOPiK employee and collected information about another Belarusian citizen. The Migration Department emphasizes that these are no longer "formal or casual contacts."
3. Concealed Information in the Questionnaire
On March 28, 2023, in the Migration Department's questionnaire, Skindzerau answered "no" to questions about whether he had ever had contacts with special services and law enforcement agencies of countries outside NATO and the EU, whether he provided them with information, or carried out their assignments.
4. Explanations Changed
During a conversation on June 22, 2026, Skindzerau denied any cooperation with the KGB and GUBOPiK. On July 10, he was acquainted with the VSD's conclusion, and then he admitted to contacts with various Belarusian special services and "close cooperation" with the DFR. He explained this cooperation by investigating financial crimes from which he and his investors allegedly suffered. He explained the discrepancy with the questionnaire by stating that he understood the word "contacts" narrowly. In the same conversation, he admitted that in 2002 he was convicted under Part 3 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (extortion). The Department concluded that the information about contacts "changed significantly," and this undermines trust in Skindzerau's words.
5. Belarusian Special Services May Exploit Him
The VSD believes that with such connections, Skindzerau could be exploited by Belarusian special services for activities against Lithuania's national security. In favor of this assessment, the VSD cites several circumstances:
- Videos Used by Propaganda. Skindzerau's videos, sharply criticizing Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and her office, are used by Belarusian state propaganda. The Migration Department acknowledges that this alone does not prove conscious cooperation with the regime, but together with other information, it confirms the risk.
- Conflicts in Vilnius. On January 26, 2026, in the Vilnius bar Submarine, Skindzerau had a conflict with Tsikhanouskaya's advisor Dzianis Kuchynski, and videos of this incident were later used by propaganda. The VSD also mentions a conflict on March 19, related to the arrival of released political prisoners.
- Family in Belarus. Skindzerau's wife and their minor child have residence permits in Lithuania but actually live in Belarus. Since 2022, his wife has traveled to Lithuania from Belarus no less than 23 times. The VSD sees this as a possible channel for special services to contact Skindzerau.
- Secret Information. Part of the VSD letter is marked "Secret," and its content is not disclosed in the decision.
"Doctor", lawyer, man with a camera and several strong guys. In Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Russian special services took advantage of a specific Ukrainian wartime business
