Belarus’ ambassador to Tehran Victar Rybak called for joint tractor manufacturing by Iranian and Belarusian companies.
Viktar Rybak voiced Belarus’ enthusiasm for the further expansion of the relations with Iran, and called for increased joint ventures by the two countries, FARS news agency reports.
He noted the high-quality products of Iran's Tractor-Manufacturing Company.
“Tabriz Tractor-Manufacturing Company can serve, not as a rival, but as a good partner to boost the capability of Belarusian tractor manufacturers.”
Mr. Rybak also mentioned that Belarus’ joint ventures in Iran stand at around $2bln now, but his country wants to have more investments with the Islamic Republic.
The envoy noted that Iran and Belarus enjoy growing exchanges, adding that trade ties between the two states amount to $100mln at present.
