Two Passenger Busses Collide in Minsk

9 persons hospitalized in the result of the traffic accident.

Two passenger busses collided today in Minsk at ca. 8 AM Minsk time, BelTA reports.

A bus (route 56) hit another bus (route 9) while the latter was standing at a bus stop.

According to the preliminary data, 16 persons were injured in the result of the collision. Nine of the sufferers were hospitalized, other were assisted by medics on-site.

The road police report both drivers to be sober. The collision might have been the result of carelessness, the road police representatives say.
