Ministry of Health disclosed how many girls received the vaccine against HPV infection
In Belarus, over 75% of eleven-year-old girls have received the first dose of the vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, reports the press service of the Ministry of Health.

In October, our country joined the World Health Organization's initiative for vaccinating girls against human papillomavirus infection.
Vaccinations are administered to girls who turn 11 years old in 2025. The 'Cervicalin' vaccine (China) is used for vaccination, which is WHO prequalified and protects against the two most dangerous high-risk oncogenic HPV types — 16 and 18.
Consultation on cervical cancer vaccine prophylaxis can be provided to parents by: a pediatrician, therapist, general practitioner, oncologist, or gynecologist.
If there are remaining vaccine doses in healthcare facilities (not used for vaccinating 11-year-old girls), vaccination may be carried out for older girls based on indications.
