The US President stated that Putin wants to conclude a deal more than Zelenskyy.

US President Donald Trump stated a "strong animosity" between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He said this during a speech to Republican Party supporters in Ohio ahead of the November US congressional elections, writes RBC.
“There is a very strong mutual animosity between the two leaders,” he said.
Despite this, the head of the White House stated that a peace agreement “will be concluded.”
Before flying to Ohio, Trump said that Moscow and Kyiv want to conclude an agreement, but "don't know how."
“But we will make sure that they conclude a deal,” he added.
At the same time, the US President stated that Putin "wants to conclude a deal more than Zelenskyy."
Additionally, answering questions from journalists, the American leader urged Zelenskyy to focus on concluding a deal, rather than talking about it.
“And here's what I think. Zelenskyy should focus on concluding a deal, not talking about it,” he said.
This is not the first time the US president has stated animosity between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders. He expressed a similar opinion in March during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
