The attacks began around 3:00 PM, and emergency services worked at the sites where debris fell. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not yet published information about the massive attacks on the capital region.
Due to the drone attacks, Rosaviatsiya (Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency) temporarily closed the main Moscow airports — Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky. The latter has already resumed operations, while Vnukovo and Domodedovo are only accepting and dispatching flights with the permission of relevant authorities. As a result, about 200 flights have been delayed.
Earlier, on the night of January 3-4, Moscow's Air Defense shot down another 29 AFU drones.
