On Friday in Warsaw, the International Poetry Festival "Verses on Asphalt," dedicated to the memory of Mikhas Straltsou, begins.
Publishers, booksellers, musicians, but first and foremost poets and translators, who will present the fruits of their work from the past year, will gather at the literary forum. This year, the festival events will take place at the Museum of Free Belarus in Warsaw (ul. Foksal. 11) from February 13 to 15, "Budzma" reports.
The prologue to the festival will be a discussion — "Mikhas Straltsou as we remember him." Participants include Uladzimir Arlou and Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu. Moderator — Tsikhan Charnyakevich. Start at 19:00.
The official opening of the festival is scheduled for 20:00. The main event of today will be the solemn ceremony of announcing the laureate of the Mikhas Straltsou Literary Prize.
