A video has appeared on TikTok showing an unusual solution to the problem of icicles along Kiseleva Street, 3 and Kiseleva Street, 5. You've probably never seen anything like it. Utility workers hung warning ribbons over the heads of passers-by.
"Here are our very resourceful Minsk utility workers. They hung these red ribbons along these houses. They haven't cleared the path, there's no one at their workplace. No one is knocking down icicles from roofs or balconies. No paths have been laid alongside. And here people are walking, children from school... right under the icicles. Who will be to blame? That's the question. If something happens..." — commented the video's author.
The video sparked discussion on social media. Commentators ironically call such measures "festive garlands," not understanding the practical purpose of such a barrier.
