The U.S. Vice President is set to visit Budapest on April 7-8, Politico reports.

Vance will be the highest-ranking American guest in Hungary since President George W. Bush's visit in June 2006.
Representatives of the State Department and the Vice President's office did not respond to the publication regarding the reasons for Vance's trip to Budapest. "However, the document clearly demonstrates the Trump administration's pro-Orban orientation," Politico writes.
Yesterday, Trump called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban a true friend and fighter, expressing his support.
"He is a true friend, a fighter, and a winner. Viktor Orban will never let down the great people of Hungary. I am always with him," Trump wrote on his social media network Truth.
The U.S. President emphasized that he "fully supports" Orban's re-election as prime minister. He added his photo with Orban, taken at the White House, to the post.
Parliamentary elections in Hungary are scheduled for April 12.
Orban's Fidesz party, according to opinion polls, is losing popularity to the opposition Tisza party led by Péter Magyar.
Orban has held the position of prime minister since 2010, which is the longest term in elected European democracies. He also served as the country's prime minister in 1998-2002.
