14 people died in Saudi Arabia as a result of a helicopter crash belonging to the national oil company Saudi Aramco. The tragedy occurred on the morning of June 28 in the city of Ras Tanura, in the east of the country.

The causes of the aviation disaster are not yet known. Relevant services are conducting an investigation and clarifying all circumstances of the incident. According to the authorities, all those killed are citizens of Saudi Arabia.
Ras Tanura is one of the largest oil refining centers in the region. Currently, Saudi authorities do not link the helicopter crash with a possible attack on industrial infrastructure.
Saudi Aramco's fleet comprises approximately 60 aircraft, and the company's helicopters serve over 300 helipads across the country.
