A fun video on Threads was shared by blogger and photographer Nastassia Dzevyatsen. An unusual family appeared in the frame in Novaya Borovaya: mom leads the little one in a stroller, behind them hurries the older schoolboy son, and Darth Vader brings up the rear of the procession.
Under the black mask hides a man quite famous in Novaya Borovaya — the artist Valery Nyatsyodau. Firstly, almost everyone in the district knows his terrace — because it looks like an art gallery.
Last year the man told «Onliner» that he and his wife are creative people, so they wanted to see paintings not only inside the apartment, but also outside. However, the artist said that hanging real canvases on the terrace would be a crime — they would quickly rot. Therefore, they had to print the beauty on special plastic that does not lose colors in the sun.
Secondly, Valery himself has an original hobby — he likes to walk around the city in unusual costumes. Previously, the man told the newspaper «Prystalichcha» that it all started 8 years ago.
Then Valery dressed up as a gopnik and came to some festival. He liked this experiment so much that over time the hobby grew into a real lifestyle. Valery discovered the 'masquerade effect': when a person puts on a mask or costume, he can be more free, open, and even confident.
Now Valery's collection includes several dozens of outfits of varying complexity. His wife Veronika sews them.
Nyatsyodau confessed that he doesn't need any special occasion to go out, for example, dressed as a vampire. He can appear in costume even at a bank or a parent-teacher meeting. Even his colleagues are used to it: if Valery comes without a costume, they ask if everything is alright in his life.
Therefore, it's unlikely that Darth Vader shocked anyone at the school in Novaya Borovaya this time.
In the comments, people joked that the image is indeed perfect for a parent-teacher meeting. And they also wondered if the son's name was Luke.
Almost unanimously, Valery was recognized as Dad of the Year — because with such a father, no school year is daunting.
