Belarusian Fishermen Caught Three Huge Catfish Over the Weekend PHOTOS
Last weekend, Belarusian fishermen managed to catch three huge catfish at once. The trophies went to fishermen in Grodno, Minsk, and Brest regions, writes Tochka.by.

The first giant was caught by Ksenia Mazur on the Neman River in the Novogrudok district. She pulled the catfish out using a clonk, with an earthworm as bait. The fish was 190 centimeters long and weighed 52.6 kilograms. The trophy barely fit into the boat. According to the fisherwoman, the hunt for this catfish lasted a whole day.

In the Minsk region, fisherman Konstantin caught an even larger catfish — its length was 215 centimeters. The fish bit on a clonk at a depth of 6.5 meters, also using an earthworm.

After the fisherman took a photo with the trophy, he released the catfish back into the water. In the comments, users particularly praised the man for this decision.

But the biggest catch of the weekend was a catfish caught by Viktor Vabishchevich on live bait on the Horyn River in the Stolin district. The length of the fish exceeded 240 centimeters. It could not be weighed — the catfish turned out to be too heavy.

The fisherman said that he is not a weak person himself and could lift 60 kilograms before, but he could not lift this catfish. To show the true size of the trophy, Viktor lay down next to the fish for a photo. In the picture, the catfish looks even bigger than the fisherman himself.
