Man under the influence of drugs started swallowing objects. The result — death
The tragedy occurred in the Barysaŭ District.
Erratic behavior became the reason for calling the police. A 42-year-old man behaved aggressively, causing his wife justified fears for her own life and safety, reports the State Forensic Examination Committee.
In addition to unprovoked aggression, the man's behavior rapidly became increasingly bizarre: he grabbed various objects, including microchips, sheets of paper, plastic bags, and tried to swallow them. After this, he suddenly lost consciousness and fell to the floor.
The ambulance crew that arrived at the scene pronounced the man dead. During the external examination of the body, no bodily injuries were found.
Forensic experts determined that the cause of the man's death was mechanical asphyxia due to airway obstruction by foreign objects.
Various objects were found in the deceased's throat, including a plastic lid, a flash drive, a phone screen protector, and fragments of polyethylene, which had clumped together into a single mass and tightly blocked the airways.
Additionally, forensic experts found a psychotropic substance — alpha-PVP — in the man's blood.
