They were 37, 43, and 44 years old.

The tragedy occurred on September 1 during planned maintenance work at a sewage pumping station.
A team from the Kalinkavichyvodokanal branch was servicing the sewage pumping station. The workers were cleaning household waste from the drains located in the shaft.
Inside were a 44-year-old section chief and two fitters, aged 43 and 37. After some time, they stopped making contact.

A colleague who arrived at the station found their personal belongings in the room, and noticed a flashlight floating on the surface in the sewage well. He reported this to the management, after which the Ministry of Emergency Situations was called.
Rescuers retrieved the bodies of three men from the shaft, the Investigative Committee reported.
Investigators, forensic experts, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, experts, and representatives of the labor inspection worked at the scene. Air and wastewater samples were taken from the shaft.
