«SVO Veterans» brought for treatment to a sanatorium near Maladziečna
Participants of the war against Ukraine from the occupied Kherson region, who are called «SVO veterans» in Russia, are undergoing treatment in the «Vyazhutsi» sanatorium near Maladziečna, noted human rights activists from Mayday.team.
In September, the Kherson branch of the Russian fund «Defenders of the Fatherland» sent to Belarus for treatment at least one participant in hostilities, as well as several family members of deceased and missing servicemen.
The government of the Kherson region publishes photos of «SVO veteran» Leonid Logvin, who lost a leg during the war against Ukraine. He calls treatment in Belarus an opportunity «to recover and feel the taste of life again».
The first group from the Kherson region underwent treatment in this same sanatorium in March of this year. It then included three Russian servicemen and the wife of a deceased serviceman.
The «Vyazhutsi» sanatorium specializes in treating diseases of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, as well as rehabilitating people with impaired functions of the musculoskeletal system.
